What is the Engine Pro Protection Plan?
The Engine Pro Protection Plan is a three year, unlimited mileage engine limited warranty program offered by the Engine Pro distributors to their machine shop and rebuilder customers. The warranty may be purchased in conjunction with a master engine kit and includes full parts and labor coverage and added value extras like towing and rental car coverages.
The Engine Pro Protection Plan is the first warranty built around the needs of the custom engine rebuilder. The program provides Engine Pro customers with a significant tool to help them compete with the big production rebuilders providing warranty coverage. The custom engine rebuilder, is known for producing a high quality, custom built product. This new program allows custom rebuilders to offer a consistent and competitive warranty with their engines, resulting in a superior product and superior warranty protection.
In today's environment, consumers expect a warranty with any significant purchase. The Engine Pro Protection Plan provides an effective way to help custom engine rebuilders meet the consumer's expectations. The Engine Pro Protection Plan enhances the value of their product by adding consumer warranty protection. What Coverages are Available?
• Passenger Car & Light Truck- Privately owned vehicles with gas engines up to 1 ton capacity.
• Commercial- Commercial vehicles licensed to a business or government entity. Gas engines no larger than 8.1L (494 cid) and 8 cylinders. Stationary engines, agricultural equipment and rental cars / trucks are excluded.
• Motorhome- Privately owned vehicles with gas engines no larger than 8.1 L (494 cid) and 8 cylinders.
• Marine- Privately owned water craft up to 35 feet with gas engines no larger than 8 cylinders. Inboard, automotive type engines included. Outboard engines are excluded.
• Two plans- Gold and Platinum.

GOLD Warranty
3 Years and Unlimited Miles.
Coverage begins after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Includes Towing and Rental Car Benefits.
PLATINUM Warranty
3 Years and Unlimited Miles.
Coverage begins immediately upon delivery.
Includes Towing and Rental Car Benefits.
For Commercial Vehicles & Motorhomes
GOLD Warranty
2 Years or 24,000 Miles whichever comes first.
Coverage begins after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Excludes Towing and Rental Vehicle.
PLATINUM Warranty
2 Years or 24,000 Miles whichever comes first.
Coverage begins immediately upon delivery.
Excludes Towing and Rental Vehicle.
For Marine Applications
GOLD Warranty
2 Years or 1,000 hours whichever comes first.
Coverage begins after 90 days or 150 hours, whichever comes first.
Excludes Towing and Rental.
PLATINUM Warranty
2 Years and Unlimited hours.
Coverage begins immediately upon delivery.
